We are second generation builders. We have been in the construction industry for over 25 years. We are a small company of seven employees.  There are three things that are very important to us. First, the quality of the construction and attention to detail. Many people seem to think that the finishes dictate the quality of construction but it’s actually what’s behind the walls, under your floor and in the foundation. Anyone can use higher quality finishes but the material under the finish is not up to par you can have issues down the road. For example, using the energy efficient and high quality duct work. Most likely, no one sees the duct work in the thier build but it is important that its energy efficient and strong quality because there different grades of duct work available on the market and most builders would use a lower grade. Lower grade duct could mean higher energy bills and possible deterioration of the duct.  Secondly, We want to build something that’s never been built before. We are always looking for newer and more efficient ways to do things. Whether it’s a new siding product or cool cabinet hardware or a new countertop product. We are not in the business to build the largest square foot space for the least amount of money. 

Last thing and probably the most important one is that we are aware of our carbon footprint when we build larger homes and commercial spaces. We became green certified builders and received our LEED accreditation. We strive to go above and beyond code to make our houses and commercial spaces more efficient. As a standard we install higher SEER ratings for HVAC systems, foam insulation, framing practices that make the building envelope tighter. We have done several projects that have geothermal wells which reduces your energy consumption by about 70%. We are also aware of the indoor air quality in our builds. We use NO VOC paint, reduce the amount of chemicals used in the space by buying products that are free of toxic chemicals such as hardwood, cabinets, carpet, water based coating for the wood, our cleaners use green chemicals vs harsh solvents. We install outdoor air intake into the space so you have fresh air coming into the house at all times. Most owners do not appreciate green building part of the construction process but this is very important as it could have harmful effects on occupants long term.
